Sierra Bernia

We start our tours series with a nice route. Many people from all over the world gets amaze waking around the beautiful Crest of Sierra Bernia.

The route makes a circle around the mountain. It offers a great variety of landscapes. On the north side we can see Valencia’s gulf, on the east on a clear day Ibiza, On the south we can see the Palos cape and on the west the mountains of the Marina and the Comtat.

The landscape varies on each side of the mountain. If we start we’ll find an arid area. Once we continue towards the north side it will become colder and more humid. We can enjoy the view of Fort Bernia with its fountain. We can also climb up to the summit (1.126 m). We will go through the almond trees right by the blue sea close to Casas de Bernia and cross El Forat, a natural tunnel that goes through the crest from side to side.
The starting point is in Altea la Vella, just 20 minutes away from Agir, even less if you go by the AP 7 highway.
